Now that you are ready to begin slowly -

I want to remind you that this is a marathon, not a sprint.  Quick fixes are just that..QUICK.  They don't set the foundation for a long & healthy life.

Of course, this journey might get a bit bumpy.  The best way to be ready is to have a food journal.

I know what you're thinking: "Ya, ya! I know what I eat and what I do.  I don't need to write it down!"

But you do!

All of a sudden, you are:

  • super bloated
  • have weird poops
  • are breaking out

Your food journal will help you pinpoint the possible troubles.

  • Too much fiber and not enough water?
  • Loads of veggies when you never touched one before?
  • Unbalanced meals?

This is not to say that something will go wrong, but in case it does, you'll have backup!

Health is a journey because it is filled with learning curves.

By keeping a journal, you'll be able to record how your body reacts.  This will help you to get to know your body and trust that your body knows what it's doing.

Diet programs don't know your body like you do.

It's time that you begin your trust yourself!

If it feels good, DO IT! If it doesn't, STOP! Easy!

Today's homework: Get & begin your food journal.  Write down what you eat and how it makes you feel physically.
