Vision board and all that goal setting stuff

This is so exciting! Brand New Year! Blank slate! What do you want to accomplish this year? What do you want to do?

I'm not just talking about making more money here, I'm talking in life, health, relationships, hobbies..and yes career/job/money making!

I usually do mine at the end of the year.  But this time, when December rolled around, I felt so far off from my 2015 goals that I decided not to chance a thing.. until I did!

I realized that I had only posted pics to a board and stopped there..

Did you know that a vision board is not just a ''fun craft'' to do, but it is actually proven valuable visualization tool (check this Jack Canfield article for more ). I could rewrite the article, but I'll let you go over there and have a look if you want to know a little more!

Whether it's on a Bristol board or as a computer desktop (like myself), make sure you put it somewhere where you'll see it and work for it, EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Yes, that's for it!! That's the one (VERY IMOPRTANT) part that I kind of skipped last year.  I had goals written all over the place, but none were in the right place!

Here's mine for this year:

Visualization is great, but once you know what you know, you need to know what you are willing to do to go and get it.

I love to break things down into action steps.  It goes a little something like this:

  • One goal - deadline ______
  • Quarterly steps to take:
  • Monthly steps to take:
  • Weekly steps to take:
  • Daily steps to take:

And you repeat for every goal that you wish to set for the year! Sweet right!!

Your daily step can be to look at the vision board, make coffee at home instead of coffee shop (if your goal requires you to save some money), ask for help, put yourself out there, etc.  There are many things that we can do on a daily basis that will help up get closer and closer to our goal!

OMG, I am so excited..are you??

Goal setting, vision boards, all gives me hope for the future!  I love knowing where I'm going..and knowing that I know how to get there!  If you have no clue where to start, that's no biggie.  Find someone who does, ask for help (see daily action already set up for you).  Write them an email asking for a phone or coffee date.  Most people will be thrilled to talk about their experiences and help you get there too!

And, hey, I'm here to help too..

If one of your goals is in the health & fitness field, I have a brand new offer for you!  I am now sharing with you, for FREE, my 7-day lifestyle jumpstart program!  7 days to get you started on your health journey.. AWESOME right?!
